Lady Gaga’s fans bidding in a charity online auction. The bid is to buy a teacup used once by Lady Gaga.
This is a beautiful cup of tea and fans are excited to buy this teacup. A fan had offered more than four million yen which is approximately $50,000 till last Tuesday. Bid rate is increasing as there is still five days left before the hammer falls.
Lady Gaga was used this china made teacup and saucer during her stay in the Tokyo, Japan. She was in a press conference when she used this teacup after the three months of the horrible tsunami on March last year which kill a lot of lives in the Japan.
The 26-year old singer told reporters that she would auction this tea cup. The special thing about this teacup is that it is marked with Gaga’s lipstick and bearing the Japanese message “We pray for Japan”. There is also Lady Gaga’s autograph on it.
The money collected from it will be used for the young Japanese artists who want to study in United States.
This teacup was put on the “Yahoo! Japan Auctions” at last Monday and starting bid price for this was one yen which now reached up to four million yen. The auction will be finish at 1400 GMT Sunday.
Lady Gaga visited Japan two times after the disaster and she will also go in Japan next week as part of her Born This Way Ball world tour.
